The Physics Mentoring Project places trained undergraduate and postgraduate students into secondary schools across Wales to mentor and inspire future physicists.

The collaboration between eight universities (Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff Metropolitan, Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham, the University of South Wales, and the Open University) builds on the established success of the award-winning MFL Mentoring scheme. Our mentors work with Year 9 – 11 students across Wales to promote physics qualifications whilst increasing confidence and self-awareness. The project is funded by the Welsh Government and partner institutions.
